Free Classic Film Series
The Palm Springs International Film Society in partnership with the Palm Springs Art Museum present the Classic Comedy Film Series. The screenings will take place at the Annenberg Theater at the Palm Springs Art Museum, 101 Museum Drive, Palm Springs, on five consecutive Thursdays starting August 9th. All screenings begin at 6:00 pm. Admission is free.

The small state of Freedonia is broke and must borrow a lot of money from wealthy widow Mrs. Teasdale (Margaret Dumont), who insists that the government be placed in the hands of Rufus T. Firefly (Groucho Marx). With designs on Freedonia, neighboring state Sylvania sends spies Pinky (Harpo Marx) and Chicolini (Chico Marx).
